Thank you George, Susan and Randy! Randy, this is the Large-Flowered Trillium (or Trillium Grandiflorum). I have a lot more shots and may post a few more of them.

This is an absolutly stunning image. I don't see anything which could be improved upon. Elegant.. I do not believe that I have ever seen this particular species. I love the color that you captured.

Thanks, The Stone Age. I was walking the woods early in the morning and the sun was shining on the Trilliums. I love how the green leaves (and surrounding foliage) found it's way into the photograph - with that touch of green on the white flower.

Great shot Angie. I was just out trying to take photos of trilliums last week, but so tiny this year ( maybe from 3 years of drought).
